I let the entirety of life in
Trying not to become overwhelmed
Sometimes submerged in pools of sadness
Then enjoying the release happiness brings
Seduced by the whispers of pleasure
Playing my senses
Like the keys of an accordion
And when from life’s flames
It all gets consumed
I find the beauty in the cleansing
That comes with the pain…
