Just Another Prankster

Here I go again,

I haste to your calls as if answering a doorbell.

Is it really you this time,

Or just another prankster?

I should be better at this by now,

How is it I’m still a stranger to your calls?

 

Wrong yet again,

Why do I still wait?

Should I leave the doors wide open,

In hopes you’ll soon walk in?

Or place guards at the gates,

To hinder all these unwarranted calls?
