Thought I knew you, yet every day I’m mesmerized by your strength.

Though burdened by fears, you gallantly run in and attack life head-on.

Thought I knew you, voice so soft and comforting, yet a roar to rival lions.

Thought I knew you, to the eyes no great sight, yet my soul before you stands in awe.

How do you camouflage such greatness, or are you ignorant to your own grandeur?

You cower as if weak, yet arise after every blow.

What is your secret, do you even know, of the warrior that resides within you, the you that really shows.

The general leading your inner battles, the relentless commando within.
